About us

ASIH Södertälje is a growing team where we now need to recruit another specialist physician. We work on behalf of Region Stockholm with patients with complex conditions, often in palliative stages. We work in a multiprofessional team consisting of doctors, unit managers, nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, dietitians, social workers, and nursing assistants.

Our premises are located next to the commuter train station at Södertälje Centrum.

The Role

As a physician within ASIH, you have overall responsibility for your patients and, together with the unit manager, form the leadership of the team.

In your daily work with us, you can expect to:

  • Work in multiprofessional teams with a focus on the patient's conditions.
  • Participate in supervision and guidance in palliative care.
  • Conduct difficult conversations with patients and their relatives.
  • Provide and develop high-quality care in close collaboration with other specialists and the unit manager.

Our Offer

As an employee at Aleris, you will have access to a range of benefits that support you both in your work and personal life. We strive to create the best possible conditions for you to thrive and develop. Read more about our benefits here. (https://karriar.aleris.se/pages/formaner-hos-aleris)

  • Has a genuine interest in advanced home healthcare and palliative care
  • Is confident in your professional role and has a positive, professional approach to patient interactions – preferably with a twinkle in your eye
  • Takes initiative, is flexible, and contributes to an open, solution-focused work climate

You are a trained specialist physician in geriatrics, oncology, internal medicine, general medicine, or another related specialty, and have good knowledge in pain relief, symptom management, and conversations in life's more difficult stages.
