About the team & role

As a project designer at Diamond Power, you have a central role in the company's technical delivery. You work both with design and project management – from quotes and design to documentation and final installation.

In your daily work, you will:

• Lead and drive several projects simultaneously, from start to delivery, within given timelines.
• Develop manufacturing and standard drawings for products such as soot blowers, rods, and cameras.
• Be responsible for documentation, drawing materials, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical support to the sales organization during new sales and quote work.
• Support the installation team with technical solutions and adaptations.
• Develop customer-specific designs based on requirements and usage.

You will work closely with both the office in Sollentuna and the production located in Skutskär. The collaboration is tight, and you will have daily contact with colleagues in design, project management, and production.

About you

We are looking for someone who is confident in their technical role and has natural leadership. You enjoy structuring work processes and have a knack for getting others on board. You have likely worked as a designer and already held a leadership role within design and projects. Most importantly, you are solution-oriented, unpretentious – and willing to take the lead.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• Several years of experience in design and project planning within the process industry, especially in power plants and paper and pulp mills.
• Specialist in steam piping systems: design, calculation, and dimensioning according to applicable standards.
• Very good knowledge of Inventor and Vault (including PLM).
• Experience leading technical teams in a project environment.
• Technical education in mechanical engineering/mechanics (bachelor's degree or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of production technology and manufacturing-adapted design.
• Good knowledge of ISO 3834 and standards for pressure-bearing systems.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel: 20–30 travel days/year.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of automated drawing flows or use of AI support in CAD processes
• Knowledge of electrical drawings
