We at Vår Omtanke are now looking for a personal assistant who wants to work with one of our clients living in Jakobsberg, 17 minutes by train from Odenplan, 10 minutes walking distance from the station. About the client

The client is a woman in her 40s living in a villa in Jakobsberg with her husband and their two dogs. She has a neurological disease that affects the function of her muscles and therefore needs an assistant who can be her arms and legs to manage her daily life. This includes transfers, personal hygiene, household chores, and training the dogs together with the client. She has a strong interest in environmental and social issues, and her days are spent on daily tasks, taking care of the dogs' health (e.g., brushing teeth, drying paws, brushing fur, etc.) and training the dogs in everyday obedience. It is important that you are:

• A woman
• Humble
• Solution-oriented
• Fluent in writing and speaking Swedish
• Dog-interested and comfortable handling dogs.
• Experienced in managing a home and household
• 25 years or older
• A driver's license and access to a car is a plus but not a requirement

No previous experience in healthcare is needed. Personal chemistry will be the deciding factor.

Working hours and employment rate:

The position is primarily as a substitute on weekends and during the absence of regular assistants. Shifts are scheduled from 8 AM to 6:30 PM on weekdays (possible to split them into 8 AM-1 PM and 1 PM-6:30 PM) and weekends from 9 AM to 4 PM. Occasionally, we also need someone for evening shifts and sometimes for night shifts with sleeping duty. You cannot bring your dog to work. It is possible to get some fixed weekend shifts on a rolling schedule. 

In August, there are several extra shifts available.

Salary: Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, other compensations are according to collective agreement.

Start date: According to agreement
