Do you want to help strengthen an important profession and contribute to increased engagement in a member-driven organization? Sveriges Farmaceuter is now looking for someone who wants to take overall responsibility for member recruitment and association support – in a role that combines strategy, operational work, and relationship building. Here you will have the opportunity to work broadly, take your own initiatives, and help develop both the organization and the membership.
About the position
This position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is conducted through Bravura and you will be employed directly by Sveriges Farmaceuter.
About the company
Sveriges Farmaceuter is a trade and professional association for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. The main task of the association is to support its members in labor-related issues, develop and promote the skills of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, and strengthen the professional conditions of pharmacists.
Sveriges Farmaceuter addresses issues that are important for the profession. They are involved in the debate on how to reduce medication-related problems, e-commerce and its impact on physical pharmacies, how to increase patient safety, medication in elderly care, and what requirements should be placed on research and education.
Sveriges Farmaceuter is a politically independent organization founded in 1903 and has over 7000 members.
Responsibilities
As the person responsible for member recruitment, you will play a key role in strengthening and developing the association's membership base. You will have overall responsibility for planning, driving, and following up on the association's recruitment efforts, with the goal of increasing the number of members and raising the membership rate. The role is both strategic and operational – you will work independently to develop long-term plans while also being responsible for implementing concrete activities.
You will be a natural point of contact for both local associations and external partners, and you will have an important role in creating engagement and visibility for the association. You will work closely with other functions in the office and contribute support in everything from communication to association development.
Examples of responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies for member recruitment
• Identify target groups and develop activities to reach them
• Plan and execute member activities and recruitment efforts
• Create and maintain relationships with external partners, such as associations, educational institutions, and employers
• Provide administrative and strategic support to local associations and committees
• Provide administrative support to the office related to member activities, e.g., training and career services
• Participate in development efforts to strengthen membership and association life
Education, experience, and personal qualities
• Relevant higher education or equivalent, for example in communication, marketing, social sciences, or organizational development • At least 3 years of work experience in member recruitment, preferably from non-profit, politically governed, or member-driven organizations • Experience in driving projects and coordinating activities with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. • Good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form To thrive in this role, you work strategically and operationally with a solution-focused approach. You are self-driven, confident in your decisions, and have the courage to stand up for your beliefs – while also being unpretentious and receptive in collaboration with others. You enjoy taking your own initiatives but also know when it is important to collaborate. You have good communication skills, express yourself well in speech and writing, and find it easy to build trust in your contacts. You are driven by social engagement and by working with and for people.
