NOFO Hotel & Wine Bar is a family-owned hotel located in the most vibrant part of Södermalm. We are passionate about design and service, the latter of which we could not achieve without our wonderful staff. Our wine bar focuses on serving unique and carefully selected wines from small-scale producers, local beer, and innovative food made with love for locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. In the wine bar, as well as in all other parts of the hotel, we always strive to do that little extra to make our guests feel special.

What is your role?

As a houseman, you will be involved in the daily maintenance of all hotel areas and upkeep, as well as providing assistance between different departments as needed. You are a flexible person who enjoys taking on challenges and thrives in a varied work role where no day is the same. We are looking for someone who loves working with details, is handy, and enjoys fixing and maintaining things. We envision you as a social individual who is also passionate about meeting people, supporting the reception when needed, being our lifesaver during a breakfast rush in the dish area, and lending a helping hand to housekeeping. You have a positive attitude, are accommodating to guests and colleagues, and understand the importance of being a responsive team player who fills our lovely hotel with vibrant energy! You work efficiently, even when the pace varies, and master many different tasks. By paying attention to details, you ensure that our guests' wishes are fulfilled and that NOFO always maintains the desired quality. When problems arise, you have the attitude that they should be solved and are therefore proactive, solution-oriented, and communicative. You handle stressful situations with a smile and are proficient in Swedish and/or English, both spoken and written.

Experience is not a requirement but is advantageous.

In addition to daily/weekly/monthly routines regarding operations and maintenance at the hotel, this role includes the following tasks:

• Receive maintenance requests and be responsible for minor repairs, maintenance, and supervision  of the hotel.

• Maintenance of the courtyard, such as snow removal and light gardening tasks
• Receiving deliveries
• Waste management/sorting/Inventory

• Assist in the dish area during busy times, e.g., breakfast rush
• Assist reception with check-ins and check-outs during short periods
• Be a helping hand to housekeeping with various tasks
• Ensure that our hotel is in tip-top shape for our guests!

You are handy, social, enjoy fixing things and interacting with people - preferably with a technical inclination.

The Position

The position is 75% with a six-month probationary period and with a start date to be agreed upon. The position involves work during daytime and evening hours as well as weekends.

You will report to our Maintenance Manager.

The position involves varying working hours during the day, evening, and weekends.
