The Local and Security Unit is part of the Culture Administration in the City of Stockholm.
The unit works to ensure that the Culture Administration provides suitable and safe premises for both citizens and employees. We provide competent support to all activities within the Culture Administration regarding local and security issues. The unit consists of two local strategists, one local superintendent, two security coordinators, and one lawyer. Together, we contribute to creating conditions for a well-functioning cultural operation throughout the city.

Your role
As a local superintendent, you will work with all the premises of the Culture Administration, from simple storage rooms to our cultural institutions such as the Stockholm City Museum. You will work independently but also be part of various local projects. Your main tasks involve supporting our operations in local-related issues concerning maintenance and follow-up of local matters as well as ongoing systematic fire protection work. You will work closely with other employees in the unit and report to the unit manager.
Your tasks include, among other things:
- working with ongoing maintenance, modifications, and renovations of premises
- administration of access cards
- follow-up of ongoing systematic fire protection work
- assisting in establishing and maintaining good relationships with landlords, property owners, and other partners
- supporting the administration's managers in matters concerning premises, contracts, and insurance issues
- representing the Culture Administration in various networks related to premises and local issues.
The work involves many contacts. You will work with several target groups within the administration, landlords, property owners, contractors, and other partners. You will provide knowledge, support, and service with everything from ongoing maintenance to acute situations that may arise. You enjoy working proactively and are happy to suggest improvements to our premises.
Your qualifications and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- post-secondary education in property management or building technology, or equivalent education combined with relevant work experience
- current experience working with local and property issues
- good administrative skills
- experience with the locking system Assa Abloy Arx or similar
- experience in financial follow-up, invoice management, and orders
- good ability to express yourself clearly and effectively in spoken and written Swedish.
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience in ongoing maintenance, modifications, and renovations
- education in fire protection
- experience working in a politically governed organization.
