Q-gruppen is a well-established contracting company with roots dating back to 1997. They have extensive experience in managing construction and infrastructure projects in complex environments and have built everything from culturally significant buildings to stations and data centers over the years. Today, they are a tight-knit and experienced team of about 40 employees with an office in Hägersten. The company primarily operates in the Stockholm area and specializes in renovations and extensions of public properties, commercial premises, and larger infrastructure projects. Q-gruppen is characterized by a non-prestigious work environment where collaboration, accountability, and long-term thinking are central values.

Job responsibilities

As a Project Engineer, you will initially play a key role in the Barkaby Bus Terminal project, which runs from September 2025 to December 2026. The project is an important investment in public transport infrastructure and includes both technical installations and the construction of terminal areas in a complex traffic environment. In this role, you will work closely with the site manager and foreman in a small, cohesive team. Your tasks are broad and varied, covering both daily project administration and coordination with contractors and clients.

Examples of job tasks:

• Planning, monitoring, and documentation related to the project's quality, environment, and work environment (KMA)

• Establishing and following up on self-checks, environmental reports, risk analyses, and work preparations

• Participating in coordination meetings and ensuring that documentation and communication with all parties function effectively

• Supporting project management with administration, meeting minutes, and handling timelines

The role is broad, and you will gain insight into the entire project process. There are good opportunities for development and a strong chance to take on a supervisory responsibility.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Post-secondary education in construction or civil engineering, or equivalent experience in a role as a project engineer, foreman, or similar
• Good system familiarity and ability to work digitally
• Experience with KMA issues is a plus
• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
