Machine Operator in Sheet Metal Cutting

Your Role

We are now looking for machine operators for our unique production of state-of-the-art submarines and surface vessels at one of the world's most modern shipyards.

In your role, you will work with sheet metal cutting using plasma and gas cutting machines in various materials. Today, the Global Control Plus system is used, which is a Windows-based coordinate control system for portal machines. The machines used are Messer Multithermer and Messer Dafl.

To succeed as a machine operator with us, we see that you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and meticulous.

Your Profile

Requirements

• Industrial technology high school
• Industrial technology background with experience in sheet metal cutting
• Professional experience in heavy plate fabrication
• Blueprint reading
• Knowledge of sheet metal and materials

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in certain cases, involve requirements for specific citizenship.
