Job Description

As a welder, you will weld using various methods and materials, and it is important that you are skilled in reading drawings. Since welding is sometimes carried out in demanding spaces, you need to have good physical fitness and health. Welding tests are conducted internally. Your work will be crucial for the production of high-quality components used in the defense industry. The work is scheduled during the day but may change to shifts over time.

We are looking for someone who

Has experience primarily in MAG welding but also TIG and MMA welding. You need to be meticulous, responsible, and have a good technical understanding. It is important that you are flexible and can work both independently and in a team. You enjoy working in a production environment and are accustomed to following safety regulations. Good knowledge of reading drawings and computer skills are required. The position requires that you pass a background check and full security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certifications
• Experience in material preheating
• Experience in gas cutting
• Hot work
• Experience in carbon arc gouging
• Previous work in material group 3
• Previous work in the shipbuilding industry or other heavy welding industry
