The role of Flight Test Engineer is central to the work of testing and verifying our unmanned helicopter system V-200. It is a practical, varied, and technically challenging assignment, where close collaboration with colleagues is an important part of everyday life. Flight Test Engineer with us:

The flight operations department currently consists of 25 employees where the positions vary between leaders, planners, technicians, pilots, and flight test engineers. The flight department has a high pace, and everyday life is characterized by teamwork and problem-solving in a dynamic work environment that alternates between Linköping and the various facilities where we conduct flight missions. The position will begin with thorough training focusing on processes, system understanding, and basic operational understanding leading to remote pilot and then further developing into flight test engineer. As you become more self-sufficient, you will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility and eventually plan and conduct your own flight tests as well as document and finalize test reports.

In addition to acting as a remote pilot and flight test engineer with expertise in Skeldar V-200, the role also includes:

• designing appropriate test programs together with the development department
• participating in and conducting ground and flight tests
• participating in and conducting operational flights and demonstrations
• documenting, reviewing, and evaluating the conducted flight tests
• performing advanced troubleshooting.

Are you the one we are looking for?

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a post-secondary technical education or work experience in test operations from flight testing or similar types of operations. Work experience in aviation and/or the defense industry is an advantage. If you have a pilot's license for manned or unmanned aircraft, that is also an advantage.

The position requires proficiency in both Swedish and English in speech and writing. A category B driver's license is required. BE and C/C1 driver's licenses are advantageous.
