We are looking for two personal assistants for a boy who is soon turning 11 years old.

He is a cheerful boy with a lot of energy, facing many challenges in his daily life. He loves activities but sometimes just wants to sit on the couch and relax.

He has speech and motor difficulties, an intellectual disability, and epilepsy.

He alternates living in two residences, one in Trossö and one in Spandelstorp where his parents live. There is good communication between the parents.

We are looking for someone who has experience working with children, preferably children with diagnoses and their challenges. You should be calm, creative, and able to come up with various activities, especially those that can be done outdoors. You should have the ability to sense the customer's different moods. Be physically and mentally strong. Have a lot of patience, be attentive, flexible, and able to motivate the customer.

It is an advantage to have knowledge of LAB-low effective behavior, TAKK signs, and visual support as alternative communication. Knowledge of transfer techniques and a driver's license is also desirable.

The customer walks indoors with a walker, which sometimes needs motivation, and outdoors he uses his wheelchair. The parents are involved to a large extent before you get to know the customer well, as safety is important for the customer, parents, and assistant.

As an assistant, you should be able to relieve the family by doing activities independently with the customer, but also together with parents and siblings.

You will have a rolling basic schedule with working hours both on weekdays in the afternoon after school and after-school care - around 20:00 and weekends during the day - around 20:00. The schedule may change during school holidays, for example. Therefore, it is important to be flexible and able to adjust your schedule from time to time as needed.
