At Attendo, we are looking for nursing assistants for our nursing home Nissastrand, beautifully located in Halmstad, just a stone's throw from the Nissan River and close to the city center. The facility has 72 apartments, of which 30 are intended for people with dementia diagnoses.

About the role

As a nursing assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and stimulating environment for our customers. You are responsible for providing good care and support to our customers. Creating a positive and social atmosphere during meals is a significant part of your role, as well as contributing to various activities that brighten the everyday life of our elderly.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

• Personal care according to the facility's routines based on the individual needs and wishes of the customer
• If necessary, assist with preparing, cooking, and serving meals, cleaning, laundry, etc.
• Perform documentation and work according to decided interventions
• Collaborate with external and internal contacts such as guardians, relatives, residents, nurses, and rehabilitation staff.

Qualifications

• Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points.
• Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
• Experience in elderly care work
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)
• Good computer skills/computer familiarity

Meritorious:

• Competence in dementia care.
• Experience working with response plans based on the BPSD registry.
