Responsibilities
As an integration and verification engineer, you are the spider in the web with a holistic perspective on verification and integration. The work is varied with a lot of hands-on as well as theoretical tasks. This includes demos, testing, delivery, installation, as well as service and support. The product you will work with is ground and maritime radar, which is part of defense security.
You will work on finalizing customer requirements and then verify and integrate the systems. This also involves connecting different parts of the system to ensure they work together. As an integration and verification engineer, you will also evaluate the system's performance through verification. When the product is delivered, service and troubleshooting are also included as needed. The work involves domestic and international travel, approximately 2-3 months a year for about 2 weeks at a time.
The team you will be part of consists of about 15 people, a mix of junior and senior staff. You will work closely with your colleagues and have strong teamwork. At the beginning of your employment, you will work closely with a senior colleague on various projects, sometimes one at a time or several simultaneously. The projects can vary in both length and size.
Your Profile
To take on the role of integration and verification engineer, you need to have a theoretical background with an interest in working physically outdoors, regardless of the weather. You need to be able to travel several times a year, both domestically and internationally. You should be a social and outgoing person who can meet and communicate with colleagues, customers, and subcontractors. You need to thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy problem-solving. You should also have previous work experience in a team and enjoy a structured working role.
Requirements
- Higher vocational education/university degree in mechatronics, electrical engineering, mechanics, or another relevant field.
- Driver's license B.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Meritorious
- Knowledge in antennas or wireless.
- Work experience in similar tasks.
- Driver's license C.
- Basic knowledge of Linux or other Unix-like operating systems.
- Interest in network troubleshooting.
- Military experience, e.g., GMU.
