About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Authorised Person (AP) to join our team on a high-profile data centre project in Gävle, Sweden. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment on a mission-critical infrastructure project. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems, working closely with project stakeholders to meet strict compliance and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the Authorised Person (AP) for electrical systems, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project-specific procedures.
• Oversee the operation, isolation, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Issue permits to work (PTW) and ensure that safety documentation is in place and up-to-date.
• Perform inspections, audits, and safety checks on electrical installations.
• Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and site managers to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within electrical systems to maintain uptime and safety.
• Ensure compliance with Swedish and EU electrical standards.

Requirements

To qualify for this position and meet the requirements for a Swedish work permit, applicants must possess the following:

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Electrical Authorised Person or in a similar capacity.
• Proven experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, preferably data centres or mission-critical environments.
• Relevant Electrical Engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
• Authorization or certification in line with electrical safety standards.
• Strong understanding of HV/LV electrical systems, including isolation and switching procedures.
• Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and relevant safety documentation.

• Adaptable and capable of working under pressure to meet project deadlines.

Additional Requirements

• Applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work in the EU or the ability to obtain a Swedish work permit (assistance will be provided for the right candidate).
• A willingness to relocate to Gävle, Sweden for the project duration.
