Job Opening: Experienced Electrician/Automation Engineer - Project Manager
Fiven Kymera is a worldwide leader in the production of silicon carbide grains and powders. We are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable solutions for current and future industries.
We serve our customers with SIKA products in established applications such as metallurgy, refractories, and abrasives. Additionally, we have successfully introduced new products for emerging applications in electronics, photovoltaics, passive armor, and energy-efficient or emissions-control technologies.
We are looking for an experienced electrical/automation engineer/technician with project management experience. As a project manager, you will be responsible for the design and engineering of electrical investment projects within the company. The role involves maintaining and developing the factory's electrical installations and production systems according to market needs, opportunities, and electrical regulations. You will also act as a resource for systems like AutoCad and FebDok.
The Electrical Project Manager ensures that all work complies with the company's health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and objectives. Prioritizing 5S and HSE in daily work is essential to ensure maximum safety for personnel and property. The position also includes overseeing subcontracted electrical personnel with a focus on Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and work permits.
We seek an individual who is independent, precise, and adaptable. Working hours are during the day and may require presence at both Lillesand and Arendal locations. The role also involves participation in the electrical maintenance on-call duty system.
Qualifications
- Electrical engineer (Master, Bachelor, Technical Vocational School). Relevant work experience and skills, preferably from the industry, can compensate for a lack of formal education.
- Relevant vocational certification, such as electrical engineering (Group A, B), energy technician, electrician, or other documented electrical education is desirable.
- Strong IT skills, preferably with experience in FebDok and AutoCAD.
- Relevant project management experience is an advantage.
- Ability to take initiative and work structured to solve various challenges.
- Experience with process measurement equipment and production equipment is desirable.
- Focus on health, safety, and environment (HSE) practices.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and preferably in a Scandinavian language.
Personal qualities
- Self-reliant, proactive, and good technical understanding.
- Responsible, structured, and precise.
- Solution-oriented and decisive.
- Good communication skills at all levels of the organization and ability to build strong relationships.
We offer:
- A position in a solid and well-established company in Southern Norway with a long tradition.
- Competitive conditions (e.g., salary, pension, AFP, flexible working hours).
- A varied and enriching workday.
- A good and inclusive work environment.
- Company cabins in the mountains.
