About the Job
Kiwa is looking for a new colleague and welding engineer who wants to help develop the Advisory Service unit within welding and steel construction control. This includes working on assignments related to quality and compliance. This is a consulting position, and you enjoy working flexibly and quality-oriented to help the customer achieve technical and sustainable solutions of high quality. In addition to nice and exciting customers, you will belong to a wonderful team of specialists in areas such as technical calculations, project management, and steel and concrete control. The role is based at Kiwa Technical Consulting, Advisory Service, at one of the offices in Kalmar, Karlskrona, or Malmö.
Is this you?
Are you a welding engineer (IWE or senior IWT/WS) with a broad knowledge of welding and construction? We believe you thrive on delving into complex issues and turning problems around to find the best technical solution.
You act as a link between technology and business and preferably have experience leading projects in construction and quality.
Qualifications
• Engineering background and at least 3 years of welding technical experience
• Experience from mechanical manufacturing/installation/production and welding
• IWE (or senior IWT/IWS)
• Good knowledge of applicable welding standards
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• B driver's license
Furthermore, we see it as meritorious if you have:
• Experience in project, construction, and/or quality management
• Materials technology knowledge
• Experience in construction
• Experience in Steel Construction Control EN 1090
• Experience in the process industry, pharmaceutical industry, or manufacturing industry.
• Contract inspections

You appreciate variation and have the ability to independently plan and drive your own work forward. We also want you to be communicative, open, and adaptable in different types of environments and with different people.
