Pärlan is a parent cooperative that has been running a Montessori preschool in the picturesque Hällsbo since 2004, just a stone's throw from the center of Sigtuna. Our preschool has two departments with a maximum of 40 children. As the preschool is a parent cooperative, its development is driven by the board together with the principal and other staff in a warm and engaging manner. The collaboration between the preschool and parents is a fundamental pillar of our operations.

Our activities are based on Montessori pedagogy, which provides each child with the opportunity to develop themselves safely and harmoniously, considering both their peers and our nature.

We are now looking for a driven and committed childcare worker for full-time in our department for older children.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is self-driven, creative, and has an easy time taking their own initiatives.
• Shares our view of children and sees the child as a co-creator in their own learning process.
• Has experience in systematic quality work and sees documentation as a natural part of the job.
• Has experience working with Montessori pedagogy (this is an advantage but not a requirement).
• Is a team player who values close collaboration with both colleagues and parents.
