About the Company

Man in Van is a fast-growing Nordic company in Facility Management with the ambition to become market-leading in Sweden. Man in Van is now looking for their first Technical Manager in Sweden, a key person who will build, shape, and drive the company's customer projects forward. You have a broad technical understanding and thrive in the role of a technical project manager, with the ability to translate complex technical needs into concrete solutions for both customers and subcontractors.

Your Role

As a Technical Manager / Maintenance Manager, you will act as the company's technical expert in the field. You are responsible for ensuring the quality of Man in Van's services, developing processes, and acting as a bridge between customer needs and the company's partners. This means that you plan projects, discuss technical solutions with customers, interpret contracts, manage subcontractors, and ensure that the company's commitments are delivered on time and with the right quality.

You will not perform installations or repairs yourself, but you have sufficient technical knowledge to understand, challenge, and ensure that the work is done correctly. Whether it involves electrical, HVAC, ventilation, or other areas of property technology, you have a comprehensive understanding.

This is a mobile role with responsibility for assignments across Sweden. You will preferably be based in Stockholm, but other locations may also be considered. You will report to the company's Country Manager in Finland and have access to technical support from experienced colleagues in Finland.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as a technical expert and advisor to both customers and suppliers
  • Plan and lead smaller and larger technical projects from start to finish
  • Create structure and routines for quality control and technical follow-up
  • Collaborate closely with internal coordinators and external partners
  • Translate technical needs into solutions that match customer goals in accordance with contracts
  • Contribute to the development of Man in Van's working methods and upcoming teams in Sweden

    Your Profile

You have several years of experience in property technology or property management, perhaps as a technical manager, operations manager, property engineer, or technical coordinator. The most important thing is that you have a broad technical competence in areas such as electrical, HVAC, and ventilation, and that you have experience in project management and coordinating technical assignments.

You may have a technical education at the vocational or university level (for example, energy, HVAC, or electrical), or alternatively, long experience in the field that compensates for formal education.

You express yourself fluently in Swedish and English; if you also speak Finnish or Norwegian, it is an advantage. A B driver's license is a requirement.

    Personal Qualities

To succeed in this role, we see that you are a solution- and service-oriented team player with the ability to take responsibility and make decisions. You have a structured working method, are communicative, and find it easy to build trust in dialogues with both customers and subcontractors. You thrive in a role where you can be out in the field, manage different people, and drive matters forward with clarity and professionalism.

You are pedagogical and unpretentious but also clear and goal-oriented when required. With your technical curiosity, commitment, and ability to see the big picture, you will be the spider in the web that makes things happen.

Start: September 2025 Employment Type: Permanent full-time position Location: Flexible with a base anywhere in Sweden. You need to be able to visit the office in Stockholm as needed. Number of Positions: 1
