Operations Manager at Man in Van
Do you want to help build a key function in the Swedish market at a company where customer focus, entrepreneurial spirit, and development are at the core? Man in Van is now looking for a driven and structured Operations Manager who will play a crucial role in their continued efforts to establish and grow the business in Sweden.
Your Role
As Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility for leading and ensuring a successful implementation of a new nationwide service agreement with a well-known corporation. You will also be the strategic and operational engine in how Man in Van manages and develops their larger customer agreements in Sweden. With a clear contract responsibility, you will drive the entire business towards the customer, from planning to operational delivery, and coordinate the local team's efforts in line with the customer's needs.
You will report to Man in Van's Country Manager and collaborate closely with both their suppliers in Sweden and their support functions in Finland. Travel within Sweden and to Finland may occur.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead the initial implementation of new customer agreements and ensure that the delivery meets agreed requirements and expectations
- Act as the primary contact person at the contract level towards the customer, working on identifying development opportunities and suggesting any additional services
- Be responsible for strategic planning, follow-up, and development of customer collaboration
- Project manage internal customer teams in a matrix organization without direct personnel responsibility
- Ensure effective collaboration with suppliers and external partners
- Coordinate assignments and flows related to service deliveries, especially in the startup phase
- Drive development and improvements in both processes and working methods
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with solid experience from a similar role, perhaps as a Facility Manager, Customer Success Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Contract Manager, or Key Account Manager. You have likely worked with large corporate clients and have experience in both operational delivery and strategic development. Experience in facility management is a plus but not a requirement.
You have worked with customer and supplier relationships, invoicing, and have a good understanding of both the business and service perspectives in a delivery. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, and if you also speak Finnish, that is a significant advantage.

You are communicative and skilled at adapting your approach depending on who you are dealing with, whether it is a customer, colleague, or subcontractor.

Scope: Permanent full-time employment
Location: Flexible, based anywhere in Sweden. You need to be able to visit the office in Stockholm as needed.
