We are looking for a Construction Manager for Trafikverket in Skövde.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

Trafikverket, Operations Area Maintenance, Western Region, Unit Road Northern Area Skaraborg is procuring one named resource for construction management in Basic Maintenance Road within the management of basic maintenance contracts and one named resource for road and land design for additional orders, ÄTA within the contracts. The Skaraborg area includes three operational areas: Western Skaraborg, Northern Skaraborg, and Southern Skaraborg.

The assignment involves: - Planning, executing, and following up on work within BAS road Skaraborg. - Assisting, preparing, and managing contacts on behalf of the project manager, with a particular focus on contacts related to the implementation phase such as utility owners, environmental management, County Administrative Board, municipalities, residents, etc. - Conducting final inspections on objects built under the Basic Road contracts and managing construction in Basic Maintenance Road contracts MF regarding OR and R work.Job Responsibilities - Support project management regarding utility work by following up, controlling, and ensuring that the execution of utility installations complies with the requirements set in permits, for example through site visits. - Provide opinions regarding applications for utility matters. - Assist project managers with technical expertise regarding road engineering issues. - Conduct supplementary inspections before and after utility work. - Check signage and closures. - Conduct site visits for customer matters that require field inspection. - Handle customer matters that require investigation and assist the project manager in assessment and decision-making.

Requirements (Note, mandatory)

- Completed education as a construction engineer 120P or equivalent. - Knowledge of the Public Water Services Act. - Have conducted at least two inspections in the role of inspector within road construction in the last three years. - Experience working in project groups where coordination has been important. - At least five years of work experience in road maintenance and road construction within the last ten years. - Must have acted as a construction manager for two drainage projects within operation and maintenance of at least 400,000 SEK each in the last three years. See the heading Drive drainage projects from start to finish in the BAS contracts but also for paving plans. - Must have completed training to function as the client's construction site safety coordinator, BAS-P and BAS-U (if not, this must be completed by 2025-08-31). - Competence level according to TRVK APV TDOK 2018:0371 step 1, step 2, and step 3 (if not, this must be completed by 2025-08-31). - Completed the following course at Trafikverket School (if not, this must be completed by 2025-08-31). o Chaos Basic - Must be able to express themselves well in Swedish both verbally and in writing. - B driver's license.
