About the position

This is a consulting assignment at Field in Linköping with the goal of being permanently hired in the long run. This provides both you and Field a great opportunity to get to know each other and evaluate how you enjoy your collaboration.

Responsibilities

As a full-stack developer at Field, you will work in a varied and dynamic environment where you sometimes focus on backend development in the system, and at other times contribute new features to the web app or other ongoing projects. Everyone in the team takes responsibility, helps each other, and you will have ample opportunity to bring your own initiatives and influence both technology choices and working methods. The role suits you if you thrive on variety and want to develop in an environment where learning and problem-solving are central. You will work closely with the business, see the results of your work directly, and contribute to keeping us at the forefront of our field.

Field's tech stack includes:

• Frontend: Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, React
• Backend: Java (Spring Boot), Express, Fastify, C++
• Databases: MongoDB, PostgreSQL
• Cloud & containerization: Vultr Cloud, Docker
• Environments: Linux and Windows servers

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Post-secondary education in programming, computer science, engineering, or equivalent

• Previous experience in GIS, full-stack development, or our tech stack (e.g., Java, React, Angular, C++, Docker, Linux) is an advantage

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
