OP Assistans is looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant for some of our clients in Sandviken.

Job Responsibilities The work takes place in and outside the client’s home, with full focus on the client’s needs. As an assistant, you work to create security and contribute to a good quality of life. This means that the work can look different depending on who you work for. Common tasks include: - Support with personal care - Assist with household chores - Accompany on activities outside the home. - Support with communication

Who are you? We are looking for someone who has their heart in the right place. You who want to work with people. It is a merit if you have experience in personal assistance or other care-related work. There are also a number of requirements to work with each individual client. For some clients, a driver’s license and access to a car are required. But for others, it is not necessary. We make a match to see if you could fit with one of our clients, based on the client’s requirements profile.

Working Hours and Employment Rate: Our clients require assistance around the clock. Therefore, it is important that you can work different types of shifts. Days with waiting time are common. But day, evening, and night shifts may also be relevant. Our clients wish for you to start as a substitute, so that you can get a chance to get to know each other. For some clients, it may, for the right person, become relevant in the future to have a scheduled position.

We offer:

  • A secure employment with a collective agreement – we follow the collective agreement that exists between Vårdföretagarna and Kommunal.

  • Contract insurances – you are covered by a number of contract insurances such as compensation for accidents, contractual pension, security insurance in case of work injury, and group life insurance.

  • Wellness allowance of 2,500 SEK per year – we want you to feel good even outside of work.

  • Training – you will receive thorough introduction and the opportunity to participate in several training sessions that make you secure in your role, including: - Team Olivia's Assistant Training - Ergonomics and Transfer Training - CPR

Personal assistance should feel safe, respectful, and simple – as an obvious part of life where the client is in control. At OP, we have worked to create such assistance since 1998. Through thoroughness, commitment, and a systematic approach, we ensure that the client’s assistance works in practice. Since we are a smaller company, we build close and long-term relationships. Many of our managers have themselves worked as personal assistants and have a deep understanding of the profession. We know what is required for assistance to work in everyday life – not just in theory. Despite being small, we have access to support and resources from our larger group, Team Olivia. This means that we can provide you with the personal service you need while having the security and stability of a larger organization. OP Assistans currently has 55 clients and about 400 employees who are employed full-time or part-time. The office is located in central Gävle.

For employment with us at OP Assistans, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the service. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present valid ID and/or submit a personal certificate and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
