LSS Case Officer – Consulting Assignment

We are looking for an experienced LSS Case Officer for a consulting assignment starting immediately and ongoing until February 28, 2026, with the possibility of extension until August 31, 2026.

About the Assignment

As an LSS Case Officer, you will be responsible for qualified investigative work within public authority operations with a focus on personal assistance. You will investigate, assess, and make decisions according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS) and the Social Services Act (SoL).

The work involves close contact with users, relatives, and external actors. You will ensure that the case management is conducted legally, document according to applicable guidelines, and follow up on decided interventions. The assignment requires a good ability to independently manage cases and apply legal practice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work (degree certificate required)
• At least three years of experience in qualified investigative work within public authority operations
• At least two years of experience as a public authority practitioner within LSS
• Experience in handling cases regarding personal assistance
• Experience working according to IBIC
• Very good knowledge of LSS and SoL
• Good documentation skills and computer proficiency
• Driver's license (B)
• Excellent ability to express oneself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
• A criminal record extract must be presented at the start of the assignment

Scope and Period

• Scope: 100 percent
• Period: Immediate – February 28, 2026
• Possibility of extension: Until August 31, 2026
• Working hours: Weekdays, office hours
• Location: On-site at the organization
• Assignment is in another location
