The County Psychiatric and Habilitation Care coordinates the county's healthcare for adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and habilitation in Region Västernorrland. The county healthcare services are operated at three hospitals: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, and at several clinics located in various towns in the county. The area has about 700 employees.

The LARO-clinic works with medication-assisted treatment and rehabilitation for individuals with opioid dependence. In your profession, you support the patient in adhering to treatment and planned interventions, and maintain contact with relevant healthcare providers, medication management, and administration. Sample collection and administrative work are included in the position. At the LARO-clinic, you will work alongside nurses, treatment assistants/care assistants, medical secretaries, social workers, doctors, and unit managers.

Nurse for the LARO clinic, Sundsvall

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse at the LARO clinic, you will be offered an exciting job where you have the opportunity to combine psychosocial and medical treatment. We work in teams where the patient's rehabilitation goals from their addiction disease are in focus. Working as a nurse in LARO services largely involves

• administration of substitution medications,
• clinical assessments of patients during visits to the clinic,
• medication management,
• participation in joint forums,
• administrative work,
• contact and collaboration with relevant healthcare providers.

Through your work, you will gain in-depth knowledge in psychiatric work and experience in addiction care within psychiatric specialist care. You will receive an introduction from experienced staff on-site. At the LARO clinic, you will work daytime Monday to Friday. Weekend work may occur, which means 1 weekend out of 5 and only between 8 AM and 1 PM.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
• Has a B driver's license

It is advantageous for the position if you

• Have further education in the field of addiction, dependence, and/or psychiatry
• Have relevant work experience in the profession
