About Villa Täby ParkVilla Täby Park is a modern nursing home with 80 apartments spread over 4 floors, for the elderly with dementia or somatic needs. Each department has its own kitchen where meals are prepared and a large shared balcony. We have a nice backyard with fruit trees and green areas where we like to spend time. • We will become a dementia-certified residence in 2025, which means that everyone who works here will be trained in dementia and care through Vardaga's Dementia Academy (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/demens/). • We have a collaboration with the company Ung Omsorg (https://www.vardaga.se/var-aldreomsorg/ung-omsorg-pa-vara-boenden/). This means that a team of young people aged 14–18 visits us on weekends and holidays. Ung Omsorg organizes various activities to enhance the quality of life for our residents. • You have a group leader who spends most of their time working closely with you in the operation. Becoming a group leader can also be a career opportunity for you as an assistant nurse. • Here we work with animals in care and regularly have visits from therapy dogs. • We are constantly working to come up with new, exciting activities for our residents. For example, we have introduced VR technology that allows for different travel experiences, adventures, or games through VR glasses. As an assistant nurse, you are extremely important! Your task is to provide quality of life. With your help, our residents can maintain their lifestyle and habits. You see each person and interpret what they need. At the same time, you learn a lot about care, aging, and how to meet people.

There are often many fun things happening, activities, and outings. It’s a job with a lot of laughter.” Jirapinya Muangsiri You are closest to the resident and thus have a key role in the team with the nurse, occupational therapist, and physiotherapist. You also participate in care planning and write social documentation.

You should preferably have experience working nights. Good computer skills and experience with documentation are also meritorious. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you share our values and have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
