Housing Support Worker Wanted for Social Psychiatry Support in Sundbyberg

Overview: Within the welfare and care sector, you will find Housing Support. We work to provide our clients with good support based on individual needs and assist them in their daily lives. This means that we work from the individual and provide tailored support based on assignments/government decisions. The services we perform may involve assisting with contacts with other authorities, support in daily household chores, support in mail handling, or breaking isolation by helping clients engage in various activities in the community. The operation is aimed at individuals with psychiatric and neuropsychiatric functional variations.

Our organization: The Housing Support operates from new, fresh premises located in Hallonbergen at Lötsjövägen 6. The team consists of 18 housing support workers, of which 2 are team leaders, along with a unit manager.

As a housing support worker/short job description: You will be assigned your own clients to be responsible for together with a colleague, in consultation with the team leader. You will work towards the development of the unit's operational planning, implementation, and documentation. This requires you to have a good ability to work both in a team and independently towards set goals.

Your tasks also involve collaboration with other units and actors, both internally and externally. You should have a good ability to communicate and express yourself well in both speech and writing. Since we have documentation requirements in the operation, you should have good knowledge of documentation. You have basic IT skills and can use a computer as a tool and find it easy to learn new systems.

Your tasks will also include planning meetings, further education, APT, and other joint meetings based on a fixed meeting calendar.

Competence requirements: We want you to have a care education background that can be equated with mental health nursing education or similar, such as the care program with a focus on psychiatry, or other education (which the employer assesses as equivalent). You have documented experience working with individuals with psychiatric and/or neuropsychiatric functional variations. Training in ESL, low-affect responses, substance dependence, and MI is meritorious. Additional competencies requested include experience with the operational form of Housing Support in social psychiatry.

The work schedule is set on weekdays according to the assigned schedule. The earliest start time for a shift is 08:00, and the latest end time is 19:00. We do not work on weekends or public holidays.

Start date is according to agreement, but desirable in February 2025. We may apply a probationary employment.
