Development Nurse in Acute and Trauma Radiology

You will be offered

• to be responsible for developing and implementing evidence-based knowledge frameworks within Computed Tomography focused on acute/trauma
• to lead and evaluate quality work and projects as well as contribute to the development of interprofessional teamwork

• to participate in research and development, both nationally and internationally, and to contribute to seminars and conferences
• to join the FoUU council to strengthen the integration between care, research, and education with the patient in focus

About the position

The position is a step 5 position according to the competence ladder and includes 40% planned development time, while the remaining working hours are allocated for clinical work. Evening and weekend shifts are included.

Karolinska University Hospital is the largest and most dynamic university hospital in the Nordic region. At Radiology Solna, highly specialized care is provided in high-tech facilities with modern equipment. Emergency radiology in Solna is part of the Trauma Center Karolinska, the country's largest unit for the care of severely injured patients, with extensive emergency operations around the clock. The unit is highly specialized in multi-competent trauma care and receives patients from the region as well as adjacent regions. In addition to the regular emergency flow, the acute patient flow is particularly weighted towards advanced oncology.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Licensed radiographer with a master's degree
• At least 5 years of clinical experience

Meritorious:

• Completed mentoring training
• Academic merits and experience in research and development
