The Paramedical Unit at Nacka Hospital serves four geriatric care departments with a total of 68 geriatric places. In the departments, elderly patients are cared for by a team consisting of Doctors, Nurses, Nursing Assistants, Physiotherapists, and Occupational Therapists who work based on a rehabilitative approach.

The paramedical unit consists of a total of 16 employees (Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, Speech Therapists, and Dietitians). We are a cheerful group that works closely together and has fun. We create a work environment characterized by engagement, pride, and well-being. For us, it is natural to help and support each other.

Responsibilities

The work is carried out in multiprofessional teams with the elderly patient's needs in focus. As an Occupational Therapist, you actively take responsibility to initiate necessary rehabilitation efforts together with the patient and the rest of the team. Common interventions that an Occupational Therapist may perform include ADL assessments, assistive device evaluations, and training. Participating in team rounds and reporting further needs for interventions is part of the job. Documentation is done in Take Care.

Qualifications

We are now looking for someone who finds it easy to collaborate with others but can also work independently. You are comfortable handling different people and situations. Licensed occupational therapist, preferably with experience in geriatric rehabilitation and teamwork. Personal suitability is of great importance.
