We are now looking for a Night Receptionist at Scandic Luleå.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring that our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web, ensuring that the guest is always the focus. You will go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details. You will ensure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most issues and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, safety tasks, and sales activities.

The work at the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You will handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotel is open 24/7, and this position involves night shifts.

Who are you?

To fit into this role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

You also have experience and knowledge in using a computer as a work tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.

However, the most important are your personal qualities and attitude. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
