The position is permanent at 70% and you are expected to work on weekdays and Saturdays (off every 3rd Saturday). Occasional Sundays in December occur, and a few evenings at events during the year.

What the role entails

The role of Sales Assistant at INTERSPORT is a varied, exciting, and above all, crucial role for our continued success! Skilled and committed Sales Assistants are what make customers want to come back to us, time and time again. Sales at INTERSPORT involves attentiveness, being active in customer meetings, focusing on creating an inspiring customer experience, and personal holistic sales with the best solutions!

The focus for this position is sales in the sports department. Therefore, we are looking for someone with knowledge and a great interest in sports equipment within cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, and cycling.

We are looking for someone who has been or is active in cross-country skiing, as you will become a sales assistant with in-depth knowledge and a strong focus on cross-country skiing during the winter season.

In addition to customer meetings and sales, there are also other tasks in the store, such as unpacking goods, executing campaigns, and ensuring that the store is always clean and fresh. With us, you get a varied everyday life with the opportunity to work in several of our departments.

The most important thing for us is that you, as an applicant, have a genuine interest in sales and customer service combined with an inner drive and a willingness to continue developing.

If you have a background in sports/training or experience working in a sports store, we see it as a big plus. Knowledge, interest, and experience in cross-country skiing are seen as necessary as you, through internal training and guidance, will become an important piece in our efforts to be Örnsköldsvik's best cross-country store in winter, both in terms of knowledge and customer service!
