Job Opening: Maintenance Technician - Österlen VA

Job Responsibilities:

Repair and service sewage pumps and other machinery.
Replace pumps at subscribers' locations.
Handle blockages in the pipeline network using a flushing truck and, on certain occasions, contractor teams.
Work with gravity sewer systems.
Participate in the development and monitoring of maintenance plans.
Communicate with property owners and inspect new and existing facilities.

Tasks may vary, and no two days are the same. We prefer candidates with an interest in water and sewage management who stay updated on industry developments and current events. The job may involve heavy lifting, and physical work is part of the position.

Qualifications:

The role requires a high degree of safety awareness and responsibility, problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, good knowledge of mechanics and electronics in pump and machinery parts, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred qualifications include experience with a water and sewage management system, a background in mechanics or similar field, and a troubleshooting course certificate issued by Skandinavisk kommunalteknik or other providers.
