ST Doctor for Norrtälje South Health Center

About the Position

We are now seeking an ST doctor to be placed at Norrtälje South Health Center near Norrtälje Hospital. As an ST doctor in primary care at Tiohundra, you will be offered a flexible work environment. We have previously won awards for innovative and efficient work methods that enhance quality and create added value for patients, users, relatives, and colleagues. We offer local training days, in addition to your own study time and joint training sessions with the ST-forum Nordost within the Stockholm Region.

We have a pleasant atmosphere within the workgroup. As an ST doctor with us, you will quickly notice the close and personal contact with both the specialists at Norrtälje Hospital and the staff at the other health centers.

The position is full-time. Entry by agreement and, when the operation allows, there is a possibility of remote work.

Your tasks will include:

• Approximately 20% training throughout the ST period, including study time, courses, lectures, and group meetings
• Standard reception work, which includes, for example, annual follow-ups and investigations, acute visits, minor surgical procedures, gynecology, eye and ear diseases, and much more
• Home care
• Ward rounds together with a nurse
• Ongoing quality work both within your own unit and collectively in primary care at TioHundra
• Supervision of students and other professional categories

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Have a Swedish medical license
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

About Us

Norrtälje South Health Center has over 10,500 listed patients and employs around 35 staff members. The health center is located in central Norrtälje.

At the health center, you will find colleagues with high competence and extensive experience. We are a stable team with broad expertise characterized by a good working environment and collaboration across professional boundaries. We have diabetes nurses, heart failure nurses, an asthma/COPD clinic, and a geriatric clinic. Additionally, the health center has a rehabilitation team with a counselor and psychologist, as well as a rehabilitation coordinator. All staff categories are involved in student supervision in one way or another, something we believe contributes to the top ratings we have often received from our medical candidates. A good rating is that our ST doctors have chosen to stay with us - something we are very proud of!
