Assignment Description:

Lexicare AB is looking for a level 4 solution architect to work on Umeå Energi's digitalization journey.

As a solution architect, you will play an active role in driving analysis and architectural issues at both strategic and operational levels. You will work closely with your team and stakeholders from across the organization, including business and IT development. Your task is to create understanding and develop the necessary proposals to implement Umeå Energi's ongoing digitalization journey.

The focus will be on the next generation of digital solutions and prioritized group initiatives. You are driven, engaged, inclusive, and responsible for the solution architecture in the initiatives until the solutions can be implemented. You are responsible for independently driving the work forward in workshops, meetings, and dialogues, through your own analysis work and together with other architects, our development teams, and the organization. You are part of Umeå Energi's Solution Architecture team, which is part of our IT department and reports to the head of the Solution Architecture team.

Assignment Period:

The assignment runs from contract signing until 2025-06-01, with the option of extension for up to six (6) months, but no later than 2025-12-31. The scope is 80-100% as agreed.

The assignment requires you to:

• Have an interest in analysis and system thinking, with documented experience in system development and roles such as solution architect, business architect with a good understanding of IT development, or similar
• Have a knack for modeling at the conceptual, logical, and concrete levels
• Understand domain-driven design
• Have experience in actively driving architecture and analysis forward
• Be familiar with agile working methods
• Have a good ability to describe and explain contexts and technology
• Be able to work both collaboratively and independently
• Have drive, commitment, good self-leadership, and be self-reliant
• Be able to take a holistic perspective and have a system thinking approach
• It is advantageous to have good experience with the Microsoft platform

Previous Experience:

The consultant we are looking for has previous experience in the Energy sector, insurance, finance, or other relevant rule-governed activities with large amounts of data.
