Sesol is now strengthening the Design department with a new team member who has experience with public procurement in solar panels and battery storage.

As a tender engineer, you have a central role in our larger solar cell, battery, and charging box projects. The primary task is to monitor the public market regarding solar panels and battery storage and, based on the client's request, prepare tenders and ensure the integrity of the process. You also work closely with our sales organization and technical department where you assist with calculations, estimates, layouts. You create conditions in the production stage with documentation for our project managers, electricians, and installers based on the inquiry documentation. You liaise with suppliers, customers, and subcontractors and compare different solutions with each other. You will mainly work with:

• Review and monitor the platform for Public Procurement
• Review procurement documents and inquiries
• Prepare tenders based on the client's documentation.
• Design, estimate, and calculate solar cell, battery, and charging box projects
• Prepare technical documentation, drawings, etc. for the projects
• Perform estimation and quotation work
• Conduct negotiations with customers and suppliers
• Assist in technical matters for the entire organization

To fit as a tender engineer with us, we see that you are meticulous and analytical in your way of working. You like to weigh different solutions against each other. You can maintain focus in sometimes high tempo and have an ability to prioritize your tasks. In the role of tender engineer, you act as a sounding board in technical matters towards your colleagues and enjoy sharing your knowledge. You are attentive and have an easy time communicating both internally and externally in writing and speech.

We wish that you

• have experience with public procurement and related regulations
• have a great interest in technology and renewable energy.
• have some form of electrical technical background and experience in design and project economics.
• are used to design and drive work towards set quality, time, and budget goals.
• have good administrative skills and enjoy working systematically in different systems
• have good knowledge of contract law
• master drawing theory and have experience in designing and drawing in CAD software, such as PVSol, and have good knowledge of Excel.

It is also great if you

• have previous experience in the industry and have knowledge of solar panels/electric vehicle charging.
