As a manager with us, you need to be a present manager who actively works on the working environment for the staff at Malungs Vårdhem. At Malungs Vårdhem, you are responsible for two special housing units for the elderly and a short-term care unit. You provide support, advice, and guidance to your staff and work on continuous improvements to our operations. You will also be involved in our work on overarching strategies and plan and implement operational development. As a unit manager, you will work on quality and development issues, and initially, it will be a priority to create the right staffing for the needs of the operation and a good working environment for the staff with a focus on the best interests of the users. Other areas to focus on are employee ownership and work on our values.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university education in some of the social administration professions or equivalent. It is considered a merit if you have experience as a manager in elderly care, as well as experience in broad and independent leadership. We also see that you have good knowledge of working with operational development and the laws and agreements that govern the field of operations. Since you will have budget responsibility for your operations, you need to have knowledge of financial management. It is seen as positive if you have experience working in public administration. To achieve a good quality in the operations, you need to be able to take responsibility for, plan, lead, develop, and follow up on the work with quality development, based on research and evidence in the field. You will work in a team with fellow managers and colleagues.

Good ability for creativity and problem-solving are important qualities in your role as a manager. It is considered natural that you are an experienced system user and that you see it as positive to be involved in developing a modern digital way of working. As a person, you are committed, innovative, and communicative, and you see the connection between leadership and the needs of the operations. You take initiative and achieve results and share your knowledge with others. You have basic computer skills and experience working with various IT programs. A driver's license is required.
