About the Position

As an area manager in the Central region, you will lead a team of 14 employees who are forestry planners and advisors. The role is broad and developing with responsibilities for both employees and business development. Together with your colleagues in the advisory department, you will be responsible for the entire field operation and driving the business forward.

Your responsibilities include:

• Employee development: Coaching and support to your team to create a work environment where everyone can perform and thrive.
• Business development: Planning, monitoring, and innovation in advisory and management to exceed our members' expectations.
• Digitalization: Driving the development of our digital services to modernize and streamline operations.
• Relationships and networks: Building strong relationships with our members and attracting new ones, with a focus on long-term value creation.

We are looking for a natural leader with an academic education in a relevant field.

It is an advantage if you have an understanding of forestry operations, through work experience or personal interest, or you need to have a strong interest in learning about forestry operations.

The position is located at one of Mellanskog's offices in Hedemora or Sandviken. Travel within the region is included in the position.
