About the Position
The main responsibility as a process operator at TreeToTextile is to, together with the team, develop how we can produce textile fibers in a safe, sustainable, and efficient manner. The goal is to verify, refine, and optimize the process in an industrial environment.
Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for:
- Building knowledge on how production should be controlled and monitored.
- Contributing to determining how the start and stop of different parts can occur as safely and efficiently as possible.
- Troubleshooting during operational disruptions.
- Providing the production with raw materials and handling the end product.
- Taking samples and performing analyses both during the process and of the finished product.
- Performing cleaning in the process and contributing to improving the process around it.
- Performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance during maintenance stops.
About You
To succeed in the position, you need to have a high school or vocational education focusing on process technology, process engineering, or electrical and automation. We prefer if you have experience working in continuous process industries and process control for a few years. You need to be a person who takes initiative, is good at collaborating, enjoys problem-solving, can adapt to changing circumstances, and has a drive towards predetermined goals. We also see that you have an interest in development, learning, and of course, sustainability. The job mainly involves work in intermittent 3-shifts, but may transition to continuous operation. Therefore, it is a requirement that applicants can work irregular hours. Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is required for the position.

- Work in a highly innovative and pioneering company.
- Interesting and varied tasks at the forefront of technology.
- Strong focus on learning and competence development.
- Collectively agreed terms, insurance, pension solutions, and other employee benefits.
The company has plans to expand, so we see a bright future for those who want to grow into new exciting roles.
About TreeToTextile
Swedish-based TreeToTextile is driving positive change in the textile industry by providing next-generation cellulosic fibers for a sustainable planet. Together with our dedicated owners H&M Group, Inter IKEA Group, Stora Enso, and LSCS Invest, TreeToTextile is developing a renewable and resource-efficient cellulosic fiber with attractive properties and low environmental impact, available to all. The fiber has the potential to complement or replace parts of the cotton, viscose, and polyester markets.
In 2023, TreeToTextile's Demo factory started in Nymölla, and in June 2024, the first bale of unoptimized fiber was produced. The next step to make the fiber available on a global scale is to build a flagship factory somewhere in Europe, followed by several super sites globally in the coming years.
TreeToTextile currently has around 46 employees. In addition to our own employees, we have a large ecosystem of partners such as strong support from our owners, consultants, development partners, etc.
