Physicians in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Wanted at BUP Stockholm

We aim to increase accessibility to NPF assessments and pharmacological treatment for children and adolescents with neuropsychiatric issues! Are you a specialist physician in child and adolescent psychiatry, or a pediatrician with relevant specialization and experience in neuropsychiatric assessments?

We are looking for physicians for several of our clinics, please specify in your application which one(s) you are interested in.

Job Responsibilities

As a specialist physician, your main tasks will be to conduct neuropsychiatric assessments of children and adolescents together with a psychologist according to national guidelines and BUP Stockholm's process maps. You will also initiate medical treatment upon completion of the assessment and follow up on its effects in collaboration with a nurse.

Qualifications

You should be a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry or a specialist physician in pediatric medicine with relevant specialization and clinical work experience in the field. You are accustomed to working according to new research and evidence-based methods.

BUP Neuropsychiatry is part of BUP Stockholm. BUP Stockholm offers specialized psychiatric care for children and adolescents from 0 to 17 years in Stockholm County.

The position is filled on the condition that it is not needed for internal reassignment, according to current regulations.

When working in patient care within Stockholm County Council's healthcare area, a registry check is applied before employment decisions are made according to current guidelines.
