Nexus is looking for a substitute therapist

Nexus is now seeking a substitute therapist until December 31, 2025, for a full-time position (100%). Start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.

The Social and Labor Market Administration is one of seven administrations in Östersund Municipality.

The administration provides professional support to the social and labor market board and is responsible for support to families and individuals. The administration has about 300 employees and is organized into three sectors: Child and Adult Sector, Competence Work Supply Sector, and Open Care Sector, where Nexus is included.

Your new job

The Nexus unit conducts psychosocial treatment both individually and in groups, focusing on addiction or dependency issues (alcohol, drugs, and gambling) primarily for adults. We offer qualified treatment interventions according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines, including Community Reinforcement Approach (CRA), Relapse Prevention (RP), and gambling treatment, as well as support interventions for relatives of those with addiction or dependency issues. CRA is a manual-based, structured, and individual treatment based on learning psychology and CBT.

Your qualifications

Requirements

• You are an educated treatment pedagogue or have another education deemed suitable by the employer.
• You have experience working with individuals with addiction or dependency issues.
• You have education and experience in CRA conversation treatment.
• You are comfortable leading groups for adults with dependency issues.

Meritorious

• Education in addiction studies.
• Education in gambling treatment.
• Education in ASI.
• Completed some form of basic CBT training.
• You have knowledge of how our partners (e.g., psychiatry and probation) work.

You are a flexible person with good collaboration skills who can work in a structured and independent manner, both in groups and individually with individuals facing addiction or dependency issues. You are responsible and have reached a personal maturity that makes you secure in yourself.
