At Serafen, you will be part of a dedicated staff group consisting of nurses, nursing assistants, caregivers, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and administrative staff.

We work in interdisciplinary teams to ensure that our residents have the best possible conditions for good care.

We are looking for someone who can work with us as needed during days/evenings/weekends.

Serafen is centrally located just a stone's throw from T-Centralen near Riddarfjärden and the Stockholm City Hall, and is a care and nursing home with 176 places for people with cognitive disabilities, somatic and psychogeriatric focus. Staff is available around the clock, and our vision is for our residents to live a dignified life and feel well-being throughout their lives.

Your role

As a nurse, you work closely with your team, contributing your specialized skills. You have care responsibility for a number of residents. Together with your colleagues, you plan and organize care and work for good health and medical care based on individual needs. You also have a role in guiding, educating, and engaging your colleagues.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for a licensed nurse with experience in care and nursing. We would also like you to have additional knowledge in dementia.

You are confident in your professional role and are willing to share your expertise, being creative in seeing opportunities rather than obstacles. As a person, you have a good ability to collaborate, communicate, and promote a good work environment. Furthermore, you work evidence-based, methodically, development-oriented, and are accustomed to a flexible working method based on the needs of the residents.

We seek someone who contributes to a good atmosphere, takes responsibility, has a good attitude, and enjoys working with the elderly. You will also participate in our improvement work to enhance quality.

To work with the elderly and people with disabilities in their homes at Stockholm city, you must present a criminal record extract. The extract should not be older than 6 months from the date of issuance.

The Department of Elderly Care is responsible for assistance handling and various interventions that allow the elderly to have their care needs met. Here, there are care and nursing homes, service houses, family support, day activities, and home care. The administration applies full-time as the norm, and you will be employed within Kungsholmen's elderly care.
