Job Advertisement: Customer Responsible at Lantmäteriet

To build houses, bridges, and roads, knowledge of Sweden's geography and properties is needed. By mapping reality and providing current information about the country's topography and infrastructure, you contribute to the foundation for a sustainable and functioning society.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a customer responsible, you provide support to Lantmäteriet's end users of geodata products. The information in the products concerns, for example, aerial images, elevation data, general maps, and property information. The daily work consists of creating quotes, managing agreements, and product orders. The orders often require legal assessments according to OSL, FRL, and GDPR. You make decisions regarding the right to access the ordered products. Additionally, you manage accounts and permissions for access to Lantmäteriet's various products.

To thrive in the role of customer responsible, you must enjoy working in a support organization, having daily customer contact, and being service-oriented. It is equally important that you can work independently as well as together with others. In the workgroup, we work as a team, caring for each other and helping out when needed.

The work is conducted via email and phone as well as in Lantmäteriet's various internal systems.

In this recruitment, a 6-month probationary period may be applied.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with good computer skills and solid knowledge of the Office suite such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The position requires that you have very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form.

Support inquiries increasingly involve assisting users regarding the service interfaces for Lantmäteriet's geodata services, so it is advantageous if you have experience with technical solutions such as APIs. It is also advantageous if you have some insight or experience in how geodata is used in society and an understanding of the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, the Property Registration Act, and GDPR, as these laws govern the provision of most of our geodata products.
