The team within Machine Safety is growing and needs more members! Now we are looking for you at Professionals Nord in collaboration with SMP Svensk Maskinprovning who are curious about a career as a testing engineer.

SMP works for a safer work environment and offers services in machine and environmental safety. They are accredited for inspection of all construction machinery, lifting equipment, elevators, and gates, as well as perform certifications, tests, and environmental controls nationwide.

Job responsibilities

As a testing engineer at SMP, you play a crucial role in the work for a continued safe and secure work environment both in Sweden and globally. Your work involves ensuring and verifying that products and machines meet safety requirements and performance according to applicable standards and regulations. You work with both small and large machines, vehicles and equipment, as well as protective clothing.

We are looking for someone who

Has a background in workshop environment or industry. You have a great interest in technology and are curious to find out how things work and learn more, as well as driven by problem solving. Being proactive and forward-thinking is a natural part of your everyday life where new challenges constantly arise, and you are not afraid to try something even if you haven't done it before.

A driver's license and proficiency in both spoken and written Swedish and English are required for the position.
