We at Randstad Life Sciences are looking for molecular biologists for upcoming consultancy assignments in Uppsala. You will work with molecular biological analysis techniques in pharmaceutical, biotech, or medtech companies. We are looking for someone with experience in ELISA, PCR, qPCR, flow cytometry, and Western blot. Previous experience working with biological samples is advantageous. Furthermore, we would like to see that you have experience working with cell lines or primary cell cultures.

Depending on the assignment and previous experience, you will work independently to perform tasks according to method descriptions and instructions or to establish method descriptions. It is important that you have the ability to plan your own work within specified time frames.

Qualifications:

• Academic education in biomedicine, biochemistry, molecular biology, biotechnology, or equivalent
• Documented experience in molecular biological techniques
• Experience in laboratory work with biological samples from academia or industry
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English
• Experience in industrial industry, QC lab, and work according to GMP is highly advantageous
• Experience in assay development is advantageous
• Experience working with LIMS or similar systems is advantageous

Responsibilities

As a molecular biologist, you will be responsible for performing molecular analysis work on biological material according to established analysis methods and instructions as well as GMP. You will have your own responsibility to plan and carry out the work, evaluate and document the analysis results. Method development and method validation will also be included.
