JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Angeredsgymnasiet is a high school with both national and introductory programs as well as a National Gymnasium for students with mobility impairments. Here, joy and enthusiasm are as natural elements as knowledge and development. We are convinced that students who thrive and feel joy in their work also succeed better in their studies.

The position will primarily be within the EK program, with some teaching in other programs. As a teacher in economics and law subjects, you will plan, conduct, and follow up on teaching based on the laws, regulations, and governing documents that exist for teachers. You will communicate the goals of the teaching and clarify your assessment for the student. Furthermore, you will assess the student's achievement of goals and assign grades based on the curriculum.

In your role as a mentor, you will support students by being knowledgeable about their needs, following their studies, and being involved in the goal of achieving a high school diploma. As a mentor, you will build relationships with students and maintain contact with guardians.

In collaboration with school management and colleagues, you will contribute to creating good conditions for the school's students to thrive, develop, and achieve their goals. In various collegial forums, you will have the opportunity to contribute to and develop your subject knowledge as well as your pedagogical and didactic skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a qualified teacher with a teaching license in the subjects of business economics, entrepreneurship and business, leadership and organization, and law. Previous experience working as a teacher is an advantage. You have good digital competence and use digital tools in your planning and teaching. You have extensive experience working with the concept of Young Entrepreneurship for students in both college preparatory and vocational programs. Since the school has many long-term collaborative projects with companies and organizations, good project management skills are also valued.
