RESPONSIBILITIES

As a preschool teacher with us, you will be an important part of an engaged team that together creates a safe and inspiring environment for the children. With your pedagogical leadership, you plan, implement, document, and analyze the activities based on the preschool's curriculum. We place great importance on building good relationships with both the children, your colleagues, and the guardians, and you are a safe and responsible role model who contributes to a positive atmosphere. Through your work, you ensure that every child feels seen and has the opportunity to develop in a stimulating and safe environment where their needs are always at the center.

If you are a newly graduated preschool teacher, you will receive a mentor upon your employment. The mentor is part of a central group and is responsible for helping you get a good start in your professional life with us.

Preschool Hyltevägen 1 is located on the outskirts of a residential area near the Sisjön nature area. The proximity to nature is something we try to utilize fully in our operations, and we spend a lot of time outdoors during the days. We are a small preschool with two departments. We have large premises that facilitate teaching in smaller groups. The yard, which is large and hilly with plenty of greenery, invites activities. At the preschool, we work on developing improvement work together across the entire unit. We place great value on good cooperation among colleagues and actively work based on collegial learning to exchange experiences and knowledge among us. We focus heavily on language-enhancing activities and outdoor pedagogy.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher degree and a license according to the Education Act. You have a strong ability to plan, implement, document, and analyze pedagogical activities according to the preschool's curriculum. You also have a good understanding of and ability to work based on the preschool's governing documents, values, and the common goals of the preschool administration. In addition, you have a natural ability to lead both children and adults.

To succeed in the role, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have an excellent ability to create good collaborations and relationships with children, colleagues, guardians, and others you meet. You are responsible, have good self-leadership, and can create a safe and developing learning environment. We also see that you have the ability to be a good role model, both for children and adults.

Furthermore, you have good digital competence and can use digital tools such as computers, iPads, and documentation systems for pedagogical work.

It is an advantage if you have experience with ICT, TAKK/AKK, and experience working with children with special needs.
