About us

Arena Education provides adult education on behalf of municipalities, the Employment Service, and the Agency for Higher Vocational Education. We are present in over 60 locations across the country and offer SFI, basic and upper secondary courses, as well as vocational training in areas such as healthcare, childcare, logistics, and dental assisting.

About the role

For our operations in Borås, we are now looking for a part-time SFI teacher for evening classes. You will teach adult students Swedish as a second language within SFI, and in some cases also within introductory courses related to working life and professions.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching SFI at various levels, in the evening
• 
  
• Possible teaching of introductory courses with a vocational focus
• 
  
• Planning and adapting teaching based on students' needs
• 
  
• Collaboration with colleagues within the teaching team

You will be an important part of a team that supports students in their language development and prepares them for working life.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Teaching certification with authorization to teach SFI

Meritorious:

• Experience in adult education
• 
  
• Experience in vocationally oriented SFI or introductory courses
• 
  
• Good digital competence and familiarity with learning platforms
• 
  
• Knowledge of coaching and individualized approaches
