For the catering operations in our municipality, we are looking for a substitute as a cook/kitchen assistant for the municipality's central kitchen, Vattudalsköket in Strömsund.

We prepare food for Strömsund's preschools and schools, as well as for elderly care, with approximately 1400 portions served daily during school hours. The work team consists of 1 supervisor and 16 cooks/kitchen assistants.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The work includes all tasks in a large kitchen as well as serving in the school's restaurant. We are looking for someone who is engaged and has the desire to work with the rest of the staff in the catering operations to develop the meal into one of the highlights of the day for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a kitchen, preferably with training as a cook/kitchen assistant. Experience from kitchen work is an advantage.

As a person, you are communicative, cooperative, and flexible. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

It is beneficial if you have basic computer skills as we use a catering software program within the operations.
