For the catering service in our municipality, we are looking for a cook/kitchen assistant for the kitchen in Gäddede.

The kitchen in Gäddede prepares meals for a nursing home with about 30 places and for approximately 90 children in preschool and primary school. The work team consists of a team leader and three cooks/kitchen assistants. Gäddede is a smaller community in the northern part of Strömsund Municipality. The distance to the main town Strömsund is about fourteen miles.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The work includes all tasks in a large kitchen as well as serving in the school restaurant. We are looking for someone who is engaged and has the desire to work with other staff in the catering service to develop the meal into one of the highlights of the day for our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to work in the kitchen, preferably with training as a cook/kitchen assistant. Experience from working in a kitchen is an advantage.

As a person, you are communicative, cooperative, and flexible. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

It is good if you have basic computer skills as we use a catering software program within the operation.
