Vålådalens Mountain Station is looking for a Head Chef and a Sous Chef. Do you love being outdoors in nature or in the mountains? Would you like to combine cooking with enjoying the tranquility by the fishing waters or in the mountain forest?

We are looking for someone who is driven, has an interest in nature, and wants to continue developing Vålådalens excellent reputation for good cooking. You will work in a small team with solid experience from the restaurant industry.

The mountains and Swedish flavors are the inspiration behind Vålådalens cuisine. Real, well-prepared food with tradition but also a modern touch.

The kitchen always serves high-quality food made from scratch. We set up lunch and three-course dinners with a large and appreciated salad buffet. Meals are served buffet-style because guests enjoy it, but they must always maintain the same level as a dish served on a plate. Experience and thought are required here.

Many of our guests return year after year and appreciate quality and awareness.

Vålådalens also hosts large groups, about 200 people, who often want to have a somewhat simpler dinner. Therefore, it is also important that you have experience in preparing good, accessible food in larger volumes.

We see it as incredibly important that you, as an applicant, want to and enjoy being outdoors in the mountains and nature. Vålådalens is a paradise for cross-country skiing, hiking, running, fishing, cycling, or forest walks.

We are looking for 1 Head Chef and 1 Sous Chef. Both positions are permanent after a probationary period.

Accommodation is available on-site if desired.

Having your own car is recommended but not a must.
