I am a woman in my 60s living in my own apartment in Järfälla. I am now looking for someone who wants to be my personal supervisor and assistant.

As a supervisor, you will help me plan my assistance based on how I want to live my life. You will collaborate with the other supervisor and create clarity for the assistants by working with the work environment, scheduling, and staffing. You will support and motivate my assistants so that they can perform their work in the best way possible. The supervisor role entails extended responsibilities beyond the assistant role.

About me

I am an active, cheerful, and social woman who needs support to feel good and live the best life possible. I have an intellectual disability and a CP injury that affects my speech, walking, and balance. I can walk independently but use a walker and manual wheelchair when needed.

My assistants support and motivate me in my daily life. They help me with care, training, understanding my surroundings, creating structure, and preparing me for what is going to happen. I want you as an assistant to give me time and space to do things my way, but with your support.

Being active and exercising is important for my well-being. I enjoy swimming, cycling, dancing, going to the movies or theater, shopping, talking, hugging, helping out, and socializing with friends and family. I also love to travel, both within Sweden and abroad.

About you

I would like you to be a woman who enjoys a varied and active job. You are calm, patient, and approach me in a positive and low-arousal manner. You have a sense of structure and order. If you also enjoy dancing and dance bands, that is a big plus, as it is an important activity for me.

You also need to:

• Have good knowledge of Swedish so that we can understand each other.
• Be comfortable in water and able to swim both in a pool and in lakes/ocean.
• Have good physical fitness so that you can walk with me when I cycle.

Scope: The position is a scheduled employment of 20 hours per week. I am looking for an assistant who can work evenings, nights, weekends, and days, as well as accompany me on shorter or longer trips as needed. In addition, there is an extended responsibility as a supervisor.

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.
